My sister-in-law singing karaoke at my most recent birthday dinner.

Happiness doesn’t come
As a result of getting something we don’t have,
But it rather comes
By recognizing and appreciating all that we have"
I wasn't the original photographer, especially since this picture was taken well before I was conceived. LOL. This is a picture of my mother-in-law Mary Kay (right) with her sister Mary Ann (left). The top left square is the original pic - the rest are the versions I created while feeling artistic.
The original photo, while interesting, didn't have that je ne sais quoi. So I used Picnik to give it a little boost. What do you think?
My mother-in-law, Mary Kay, made my wedding bouquet. Here's a treatment of the photo.
I took this picture today while sitting outside a coffee shop in Lake Gregory. Le contented sigh.
Post what you think this image originally was under comments.
I am looking forward to reading what you think!

Originally this was a blurry picture taken on my BlackBerry that I would have just deleted, but for some reason I had kept the original. Now it's been edited and is now a piece of art. Enjoy.
I have a feeling that there will be some days that I will be very productive in terms of my artwork/photo editing. Tonight is one of them.
... but I think it's time for me to head to bed.
Good night.
The original photo of our cat Morpheus wasn't the best, but tweak a little here, modify a little there, and Viola!
I have been playing with various photo editing software programs lately, that I have decided to start a blog of my creations. This first artwork is of my husband, Tom, while on the parking lot tram headed to Disneyland yesterday. It is one of my favorite pictures of the day, so I decided to play around with it.
I will be using Flickr and Picnik for the most part, but I also like using PhotoScape and any other programs I can get my hands on. Ultimately I would LOVE to get my hands on a license for Adobe Photoshop, but that is unfortunately beyond my current financial means.
Please enjoy my creations ... and leave comments. I LOVE COMMENTS!!! :o)
